The preparation is essential, not all parts fill fit correctly or at all without it. We recommend you to buy it from us, but a competent bike shop will be able to do it as well.
The package includes:
- Facing the bottom bracket shell
- Chasing bottom bracket threads
- Facing the headtube
- Facing the fork crown race seat
- Chasing all threaded inserts: derailleur hanger, bottle cages, dropout eyelets, downtube bosses on frame and fork.
- Removing extra paint from seat clamp and dropouts
